Clean, spacious, comfortable and peaceful, the rooms in the Kuenphen Rabten Resort promises a sound sleep and a perfect rest to start each morning afresh.

Of the total 30 rooms, nine are deluxe and the rest standard.

Both the deluxe and standard rooms are fitted with top quality Fenesta double-glazed windows that will retain the quietness and warmth during winter.

The owners have taken extra care and emphasis on maintaining cleanliness inside the compound. In addition, the staffs have all been trained to provide the best hospitality services. They will go out of their way to guide you and offer their best services throughout your stay in the resort.

The rooms also boast of comfortable relaxing beds, which are slightly bigger than standard size. The deluxe rooms have bathtubs while the standard ones have a shower cubicle each.

 

 

 

 

 

In addition, the rooms also offer facilities including a worktable, tea and coffee set, high-speed Internet connection, television, telephone and easy to use electronic card key.

All the rooms are also connected to centralized heating and cooling during both winters and summers. While summers are usually warm and humid, winter in Thimphu can be exceedingly cold with temperatures sometimes registering below zero degree.

The resort offers the opportunity for guests to meditate inside its shrine located on the top floor of Mathang building. The shrine displays the history of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and Je Khenpo through various thangkas or tapestry and photographs of the Wangchuck dynasty.

Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel is an important religious figure and statesman who unified Bhutan in the 17th century.

The resort also has a separate Karaoke lounge if one wants to relax and interact with other guests.
